Description
The designer uses three very different yarns and simple texture to paint a deceptively rich picture: Eyelets, garter ridges, and the play of different fibers against each other-glossy silk, matte wool, fuzzy mohair-make this pullover softly romantic.
Details
Finished Size: 35 1/2 (39 1/2, 44, 48)" bust circumference. Sweater shown measures 39 1/2", worn with plenty of ease.
Yarn: Alchemy Haiku (60% mohair, 40% silk; 325 yd [297 m]/25 g): sorbet (pale pink, MC), 3 (3, 4, 5) skeins. Alchemy Monarch (70% cashmere, 30% silk; 156 yd [142 g]/40 g): sorbet (pale pink, CC1), 2 (2, 3, 3) skeins. Alchemy Silk Purse (100% silk; 138 yd [126 m]/50 g): sorbet (pale pink, CC2), 2 (2, 3, 4) skeins.
Yarn weight: #0 - Lace
Gauge: 23 sts and 30 rows = 4" with MC in St st.
Needles: Size 5 (3.75 mm): straight and 24" circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Tapestry needle; marker (m).
