- A pretty good little book Review by Amelia
While I haven't had a chance to knit one of these designs (yet!), the book contains some great patterns, most of which are tops (sweaters, vests, dresses, etc.). They include lace, cables and fair isle, as well as some simple patterns, in a range of yarn weights from sportsweight to bulky. There is even a pattern knitted from the side, as well as top-down and bottom-up patterns. As advertised, there is no finishing, aside from your weaving in of the yarn tails. (I don't think you can avoid that one!)
For larger knitters, the largest size in the patterns tends to be around 55" [140cm] around the bust, with a couple as large as 60" [152cm], and a few smaller ones around 50" [127cm].
A great little book, and, in my opinion, worth its price. Buy it to learn the secrets and techniques of finish-free knitting, or just for a stash of nice patterns.
